DIS4SME is a European project aimed at providing high quality specialised training courses focusing on location data interoperability in different areas. Interoperability refers to the functionality of information systems to exchange data and to enable sharing of information. Data interoperability is a cross-cutting issue, horizontal to almost all vertical markets, it plays a crucial role in the ICT sector and in all the processes dealing with location. The main aim of DIS4SME is to provide SMEs with the right skills required to orient their Digital Transformation strategies and plans around data interoperability, as enabler of all the key capacity areas addressed by the Digital Europe Programme. SME owners, managers and employees face several knowledge gaps related to the emerging trends of Digital Transformation, not only related to technologies, but mainly to data policies. We will learn about the problems they face and how DIS4SME can help them.
