Application of Remote Sensing in Water Resources and Climate Change

This workshop is organized by the Water, Energy, and Environmental Engineering research unit’s Professor Ali Torabi Haghighi. Ali Torabi Haghighi is leading the Hydrosystems Engineering and Management research group.

This workshop is organized in hybrid mode: Online and in-person at the University of Oulu, Linnanmaa campus.

This workshop gives:
✅ A comprehensive exploration of how Earth Observation satellite data and modern geospatial technologies are revolutionizing the monitoring and management of climate-related water challenges.
✅ Insights into estimations of climate extremes, water levels, and analytical tools.
