FORMEC 2025

Next week, Europe’s largest forest technology conference, FORMEC 2025, takes place in Joensuu. The event will showcase a broad overview of Finland’s wood procurement and forest bioeconomy value chains.

Our professor Juha Hyyppä will be one of the keynote speakers, presenting “High-quality forest resource information through individual tree-level inventories, automated field reference, and accurate tree species classification.”
